Foil Fencing Course for Beginners
Birmingham Fencing Club (BFC) will be running regular Beginners courses in foil. The details of the next course are as follows:
Venue: Hallfield School (directions)
Start dates: Tuesday 17th January 2012
Duration: 6 weeks
Time: 7 – 8 pm
Cost: £63
The cost of the course includes a certificate and badge for Grade 1 Foil, plus Social Membership of the British Fencing Association. This provides Third Party Insurance cover for the member involved and lasts for 1 year following start of membership. It is anticipated that everyone completing the course will reach Grade 1 or higher. There will be an opportunity at the end of your course to try epee and sabre.
All necessary fencing kit is provided by the club. You should arrive wearing loose fitting clothing (no shorts please), and non-marking training shoes.
